- Cincy OS/2 Tricks
- Here's a real smorgasbord of OS/2 information. Some is fun, most is useful. These guys have been around for a while.
- IBM's Internet Phone for all platforms
- IBM's got an Internet Phone program that runs on almost every platform. Java version should be coming soon.
- Curt's High Speed Modem Page
- This page has a lot of really good information about Modems. It tells how the high speed modems work and how they sometimes don't. Anyone have a Rockwell Interface Protocol (RPI) modem? This page has links to tell you why they were a bad deal.
- IBM's Anti virus Page
- IBM maintains a great site that talks about their anti virus software and informs you what a virus can do. These programs are considered the best on all platforms.
- IBM's APAR listings
- This site will allow you to search IBM's knowledge base for any OS/2 problems that have already been reported. You can see if there is a solution, workaround or at least feel comforted that help is on the way and the problem has been reported. I've used this a lot during installations that have gone bad.
- IBM's Device Driver Online Pack
- This site has device drivers for OS/2 for thousands of printers, videos, CD's, Laptops, etc. This is the place to look.
- IBM's OS/2 Warp Fixpack Page
- IBM periodically offers free fixes to their current versions of OS/2. This page has the most recent such fixpack. Install on your OS/2 to keep your code current.
- IBM's Redbooks
- IBM publishes hundreds of items called Redbooks. These were books that had lots of valuable information about IBM products. The covers were Red and were available at cost. They are now available online for free!
- IBM's Warp Home Page
- This is IBM's main marketing and service home page. If you haven't been here recently, take a look.
- Indelible Blue
- This is an OS/2 only hardware and software retailer out of Raleigh, NC that has lots of solutions.
- Internet Dialer Program
- A Dutch company, F/X has created a really great replacement modem dialup program for OS/2. This program replaces the PPP and SLIP dialers that come with OS/2 and allows for IP sharing (connect your whole LAN to the Internet with one Modem) and auto connect and disconnect features.
- Netscape Navigator for OS/2
- Netscape Navigator is available for Warp. Here's the link to get the most recent release. Yes, it's version 2.02, but since Warp has built in support for JAVA, it's as current as they come. You don't miss a thing. The Windows 3.x plugins work just fine. In fact, you can put a -3 parameter in the properties list for the object and it will report Netscape 3 for OS/2!!!
- OS/2 E-Zine
- The OS/2 E-Zine is best Electronic Magazines that caters to the OS/2 crowd. Check back regularly for updates.
- OS/2 Switchboard
- The OS/2 switchboard has lots of good OS/2 related information. This is a must visit site.
- REXX
- REXX is IBM's multiplatform language that will run on PC's and mainframes. Here's IBM's official REXX site.
- The OS/2 Supersite
- This is truly a supersite. There's so much here from software to information to great links.
- LOTUS OS/2 Fixpak Page
- Lotus's fixpaks for OS/2 products.
- The Warp Pharmacy
- Links to help you if you are having problems with your install and operation of OS/2. These files are a little old, but the information is still good.
- Unofficial OS/2 Warp 5 Gossip
- The unofficial OS/2 gossip page is full of very interesting plans that may or may not come about. Come see the future today.
- University of Texas OS/2 Pages
- University of Texas OS/2 Website. OS/2 is alive and well at UT. (Gee, wonder what else is in Austin...) Lot's of good FAQ's and links.
