I'm an amateur radio operator, licensed by the FCC with the call sign of N5HZR. There are about 600,000 of us in the United States. If you would like some more information about becoming a HAM, drop me a note. If you are in the Norman, OK area, we offer classes to help you obtain your No-Code Technician License. These classes typically start the first week of OU classes in the spring, (About January 15th or so.) Drop me a line if you want to come.

The OU Amateur Radio Club's Home Page. This club has been active on and off since the 1930's as the Alpha Sigma Delta fraternity. It has been revitalized and is operational again.

Shuttle Amateur Radio Experiment Page. This page gives information about the joint efforts of the radio community and NASA. On selected NASA shuttle missions, various ham gear is carried and operated by the astronauts. It is possible to both hear and talk with the astronauts as they circle the earth.
